All Saints Youth Project, Tuesdays and Thursdays, Kings Heath Birmingham

All Saints Youth Project is an established, community-based provision based in All Saints
Centre. We deliver a range of support and activities for young people aged 11 to 21 years
old (25 with additional needs) and their families since 1988. We have grown from an
established history of open youth work at All Saints Church to become a major youth project
for young people and their parents/ carers. We have a strong commitment to developing an
inclusive project open to all young people, regardless of ability or background, to support
their transition from adolescence to adulthood. Together with the Family Support team,
this enables us to deliver an integrated approach by addressing the needs of the family. The
All Saints Youth Project is headed by a voluntary management committee. Our work is
maintained through ongoing fundraising from a range of sources including grants and trusts.

We are looking for a committed, confident and dynamic individuals to join our diverse team
of youth workers at All Saints Youth Project in the heart of Kings Heath.  Our values are important to us, these include being young people centered, kind an caring and we expect our youth workers to embody these.

You will be expected to work as a general youth worker in our young peoples centre at some or all of the following, to be discussed at interview.

Sessions – Drop in AND Tea Time Club (2.45-6pm) OR Tea Time Club AND Gateway to Inclusion
(5–8.15pm) OR all three sessions (2.45-8.15pm) on Tuesdays and/ or Thursdays term time.
Additional hours may be offered during holiday schemes, for special project work and to provide
cover.  Applicants can apply for Drop in and Tea Time Club OR Tea Time Club and Gateway to Inclusion OR all three sessions on Tuesday and/ or Thursday  Pay – £10.90 p/h

Interviews will be held on Wednesday 3rd May 2023 and applicants will be expected to provide a half hour activity for young people in Gateway to Inclusion session on either Tuesday 2nd May or Thursday 4th May 6.30 – 7.30 p.m. The views of the young people will be taken into account when making the final decision.
