Part of CQ’s Learn for Real series: this date is your chance to study a green gem – the 75 acre outdoor activity centre overlooking Birmingham city centre that is The Ackers. As well as ski and toboggan slopes, climbing walls, zip wires, archery ranges and a canal basin for canoeing, kayaking and bellboating, Ackers has everything for urban adventure: a bushcraft survival zone, jungle challenge course and a fully equipped, self-catering residential base.
Come and develop your ideas of how you and your group could work cooperatively to make even more of this fantastic asset for disabled and vulnerable young people.
