ALI WOOD  Chair of Meriden Adventure Playground Association hosts the first  Children’s Quarter Learning for Real event – a series of informal occasions when we go out and about to find the difference Member organisations make.

Join Ali, her colleagues and other CQ Members for the morning in Chelmsley Wood – we guarantee you’ll find inspiration and fresh ideas!

HERE’S what PEOPLE SAY ABOUT MAPA:

There’s a sense of freedom and pure play ….a place full of smiling happy children enjoying… mud and fun

My son, who has autism, loves it.  He can be free and make things and this is the only place he doesn’t have a meltdown

Great place for kids to… use their imaginations, creativity and learn social skills

They also offer food to the kids and drinks

I’ve just been given Jerk chicken left over from youth night! What an amazing place for the kids! Music, food, well done to all the workers!!!

Brilliant place for kids of all ages

It took me back 50 years to the fun I had as a child. Being able to play in a natural environment, no cost, no expensive toys, nothing, just plain earth, wood, rocks and bits and bobs

Without the playground there would be more gangs due to the kids being bored

So good for the community

It’s a fantastic place for children to create memories

This is an important part of the Local Community pulling together

Such a brilliant find

There’s always something new and inventive to play with, affordable refreshments and food cooked over the fire

Great place, great people…

It’s a fantastic place, right on our doorstep!

See You There…
