It Takes a Village… is Children’s Quarter third annual conference.  We’re focusing on making more of what we share – community assets: families, networks, communities, grassroots groups and schools – making the whole community a classroom.  The event takes place at Edgbaston Community Centre, Woodview Drive, Birmingham B15 2HU on Wednesday 20 November, 9.30am-12.30pm.

Speakers include Sir Tim Brighouse, Andy Couldrick (CEO Birmingham Children’s Trust), Tim Boyes (CEO Birmingham Education Partnership), Young people, Families and CQ Members…

We will be hearing from some important speakers and supporters. Even more important, we will be hearing from young people, families and community-led groups. And you? Tickets are free to CQ members, supporters and their guests.  

Groups can join CQ online for as little as £10;

Individuals can join as a supporter for £10.
