Fit for All 2024

Fit for All is CQ’s main consortium project. Through it CQ Members work with communities to provide inclusive activities and healthy food for around 5000 – mainly SEND – children in Birmingham. Find out more; how to be part of the delivery during 2024; and book a place on a Fit for All Briefing this month. By the way, non-Members can join too!

Solihull HAF

We are planning a small bid to Solihull HAF to fund more inclusive delivery in North Solihull.  Click above if you are Solihull-based and would like to be involved.

Fit Together is the proposal to West Midlands Inclusive Communities fund to match and extend HAF funding in Birmingham and North Solihull. Developed in consultation with Members, it was based on findings of what families and young people said they valued about community provision during Summer 2023. Check key points in the bid or order a copy.

CQ Members take part in monthly Zoom briefings on current funding opportunities and can access Members’ pages with details of grant funders. Book your place at the January Funding Zoom on Friday 26 Jan when we’ll be looking at hundreds of thousands on pounds on offer and available to fund inclusive services for and with children and young people.

“Learn for Real”

Learn for Real events are CQ’s 2-3 hour site visits hosted by Members which provide opportunities for peer and shared learning and the chance for Members to talk around common issues.  The series has already given Members inside tracks on: inclusive arts enrichment; managing and sharing your own building; adventure play for special needs children; welcoming and enabling autistic children. Keep up to date on what’s planned over the course of this year and – please – put your project or organisation forward to host a visit.

SCHOOLS WITHOUT WALLS!

SEND children and young people can thrive in places and spaces that complement and extend traditional school-based learning. Forest School – and other environmental – activities are a case in point. Join families, CQ Members and others in developing a proposal to boost inclusive environmental learning across the West Midlands.

… AND Help Us KEEP in Touch

Check out your email inbox! We’ve had an increasing number of Members say CQ communications are getting junked. This month we’ve sent the same update email from two different servers – and we’re keen to find out what reaches home.

And please use the Response Form attached to the email to let us know if other people in your group/organisation/school need to be kept up to date with opportunities from CQ.
