Screwfix Foundation

Screwfix Foundation offers local registered charities and not for profit organisations funding up to about £5,000 for projects that repair, maintain and improve community buildings and facilities for those in need.   The Foundation also partners Macmillan Cancer Support, donating funds towards their programme which helps people suffering from cancer in financial need with minor home improvements.

Screwfix is a retailer of trade tools, accessories and hardware products.  The  charitable foundation raises money including through raffles in stores and from pennies donated by online customers rounding up their bills.

Eligibility

Registered charities or not for profit organisations that help those in need including disabled young people and their families.  Priority is given to projects which create a longer-term difference and where the Foundation’s donation will make a real impact.  Screwfix Foundation prefers to fund the total cost (or the majority) of a specific project or sub-project and doesn’t support general appeals.
