Ford Britain Trust

Ford Britain Trust

Ford Britain Trust offers grants of up to £3,000 for community and education projects.  The fund prioritises applications from groups near the sites of large Ford operations like Dagenham and Halewood, but you can still apply – the West Midlands is the base for some of Ford’s main suppliers in the UK.

Charitable organisations, non-profits, and schools/PTAs can apply for grants up to £3,000 for projects that benefit their local communities. The Ford Britain Trust provides funding for projects focused on education, environment, children, the disabled, youth activities, and community benefits. Priority is given (as explained above) to organisations near Ford locations.

The funding supports capital projects like refurbishments and equipment/computer expenses. Two grant types are available: small grants up to £250 (applications accepted until 30 November 2023) and large grants over £250 up to £3,000 (applications accepted until 31 January 2024).

Ford Britain Trust pays particular attention to projects focusing on education, the environment, children, those with disabilities, youth activities and projects that provide clear benefits to local communities.
