Fit for All Christmas and New Year 2025

Around 3000 children and young people take part in Fit for All each year in Birmingham and Solihull.  Half are disabled; most of the rest are vulnerable (according to the Children’s Commissioner for England); and two-thirds are entitled to Free School Meal.

CQ Members (and non-Member organisations that want to join the cooperative) can put forward their ideas for funding now for Christmas and New Year delivery.  Bear in mind:

Eligible days

The seven days on which HAF funded delivery can be funded during the Christmas break are:

Monday 22, Tuesday 23 and Wednesday 24 December

Monday 29, Tuesday 30 and Wednesday 31 December

Friday 2 January 2026.

Maximum delivery per participant

As usual, the maximum that any participant can attend at Christmas is 4 sessions of up to 4 hours on different days.

Additional funded ‘Family Days’ at soft play etc

Working with Dens of Equality, we will aim to have family activities available on each eligible HAF day.  You might want to bear in mind that, rather than organising Soft Play etc yourself, you will be able to join in these events.

There are  Zoom briefings on Monday 20 October at 1pm and 4pm and an Expression of Interest form to complete

Fit for All Christmas and New Year 2025
What sessions would you like to run during the Christmas holidays? Please give an idea of the times, your preferred venue, your best realistic estimate of numbers; an approximate percentage of participants who will be: SEND; Free School Meal eligible; and over 11 years. And indicate whether the sessions will be Family Events (where a responsible adult stays) or Clubs (where parents leave young people with you).
Please prove you are human by selecting the key.
