Set the priorities for CQ’s training timetable by sharing your training needs (and expertise). Please also say if you have a venue where you’d like to host courses. Cooperative Learning benefits CQ Members first – through cheaper courses and local access to training. However, even if you aren’t (yet) a Member of Children’s Quarter, you can still benefit.
If your group is West Mids based and runs services for children, young people and families, then the first step is to fill in your name and details below on the Expression of Interest form. Every few weeks, you’ll get updates on confirmed and potential courses in Birmingham and the West Midlands in a range of relevant subjects.
Subjects covered will include training in:
Manual Handling/Using a Hoist | Inclusive Play |
Safeguarding Level 2 | Food Hygiene |
Pediatric First Aid | Autism Awareness |
Designated Safeguarding Lead |
And could include all sorts of other courses and opportunities.
Training Needs
If you’d like to make more of the benefits on offer, then fill in some notes about your known and likely training needs over the year ahead. You could focus just on the types of courses listed above. You could also note down any other training needs for staff and volunteers. The more information you share, the more you’re likely to save. You can always come back and add more detail.
Expertise, Equipment and Venues
You could also tell us about training you’d like to run. Or equipment and venues that you have and that could be rented and used in training.
