Adventure play takes off in Solihull, July/August 2019

Meriden Adventure Playground Association (MAPA) set up what has become an amazing community asset serving children and young people in North Solihull and East Birmingham more than 10 years ago. The adventure playground is staffed by qualified playworkers throughout the year, opening after school and on Saturdays during term times and on weekdays during school holidays. In addition to open access play, the site runs a food bank and clothes/bedding bank and acts as a meeting place for families and a referral point for children and parents to other services.

Through Inclusion Fusion, MAPA is working with half a dozen other Children’s Quarter members offering adventure play in July and August 2019 aimed at over-8s with additional needs. Click on the picture above to download details of the Summer sessions at MAPA.
