Connecting People & Communities to Heritage

The National Heritage Fund offers grants of between £3,000 and £10,000 to not-for-profit organisations for projects that connect people and communities to their national, regional and local heritage.

As an ongoing measure following the Covid pandemic and the cost of living crisis, the NHF is prioritising heritage projects that:

•            promote inclusion and involve a wider range of people

•            boost the local economy

•            encourage skills development and job creation

•            support wellbeing

•            create better places to live, work and visit

•            improve the resilience of organisations working in heritage

Applicants have to show they have considered the environmental sustainability of their proposals.

Note: NHF funding is about to be redeveloped. If you want to apply for one of these grants you have until 12 noon on 1 December 2023 to get your proposal in using the link above.
