Charities, community groups, schools and others can bid for assistance in crowdfunding from the Aviva Community Fund. Aviva is looking to support innovative projects with up to £50,000 that boost community resilience in the face of uncertainty, with a focus on two key areas:
- Climate Action focuses on promoting healthy and thriving communities by preventing, preparing for, and protecting against the impacts of climate change.
- Financial Wellbeing aims to help people take control of their wellbeing by providing them with tools to become more financially resilient and independent.
Projects must be raising funds to develop a new approach, product or technology, pilot a new scheme, implement a new initiative, or expand existing services to a new area or beneficiary group. All beneficiaries must be based in the UK.
Once applications are submitted, applicants will need to create a fundraising page on Crowdfunder, which Aviva employees and the public can browse and donate funds to.
