Children’s Quarter is a co-operative of groups which are committed to creating inclusive opportunities for children, young people and their families who are currently socially isolated by their experience of being disabled, or of mental ill-health or of any other reason.

Groups and organisations, however informal, that provide services to children and young people and are committed to social inclusion are welcome to join Children’s Quarter as full members of the co-op.

Individuals who support our aims are able to join Children’s Quarter as supporters.  Groups and organisations who support our aims but don’t directly provide services to children and young people are welcome to join as associates.

Children’s Quarter has been set up by groups in Birmingham, England but we are pleased to welcome members, to share information and to work with similar groups throughout the UK, Europe and the world.

Many of our members are also interested in work that aims to reduce social isolation amongst lonely and vulnerable people whatever their age.  We want a society in which including everyone is seen as the starting point; not as an add-on project.
